Tony Oliver
Tony Oliver fell in love with the Oriental Culture while in the Marine Corps and traveling around the orient. Over the years his interest faded, then in 1990 he started to train in the Martial Arts, and his interest were rekindled. In 2004 a friend gave Tony a Japanese Sumi-e kit, and after a year of trying to do sumi paintings, he became frustrated. He decided he needed better brushes.
Tony went on line and while surfing found a Master Chinese Brush Painter from Burbank who also sold brushes and gave lessons. After buying some, he decided to try and take some lessons. After one lesson he fell in love with Chinese Brush Painting, and the rest is history.
